Take a deep breath in, take a deep breath out. The new year is here and there are 366 fabulous days ahead of us (yep, it’s a leap year folks) to make, create and be who you want to be.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m not one for setting new year’s resolutions as all too often they tend to be broken bringing up unwanted feelings of guilt and unhappiness, and seriously who wants or needs that?!
Instead I prefer to set intentions for my year ahead. Intentions that can bubble along and allow for flexibility and movement as the days, weeks, months roll by and with a young family that’s the way it has to be!
This year, I have though decided to set myself a word, something that I can hopefully come back to again and again to re-set myself as I need to.
I’ve tried a few on and the one I keep coming back to is: ‘Breathe’.
